Health and Fitz-ness was born in 1998—while I was pregnant with my daughter, Caroline. What started as a leap of faith into entrepreneurship during motherhood became a lifelong mission to help others live stronger, healthier, and more balanced lives. From the very beginning, my philosophy has been simple: lead by example, not perfection.

Now, 26 years later, life has come full circle. The same baby I was carrying when Health and Fitz-ness began is now my business partner. Together, Caroline and I are building the next chapter—bringing you a dream team of personal training, group and online classes, cooking classes, wellness retreats, educational workshops, and real-food recipes that make healthy living feel natural and joyful.

Health, to us, isn’t just about workouts and meals. It’s about living fully—hiking, biking, traveling, cooking, and laughing with family and friends. It’s about energy, confidence, and connection.

With over 30 years in the health and fitness world, I’ve seen countless trends come and go, but what truly lasts is consistency, education, and evolution. With Caroline now part of Health and Fitz-ness, we’re blending experience and innovation to help you build strength, confidence, and a life that feels good—inside and out.

The Whine Cellar

The Whine Cellar is a fully equipped gym located in the basement of our home with a convenient lower level entrance. This intimate setting allows you to work out in privacy while allowing us to focus on your personal fitness goals without distractions. We provide everything you need including water, towels and lots of moral support.

As personal trainers, we will motivate and challenge you. Most importantly, we will tailor a program that suits your needs and makes sure that exercises are done correctly with proper form. We work o

ne-on-one or in small groups,

with men, women and children of all ages and abilities. From weight loss and strength to sport specific training, from beginner to elite athlete, we have a program for everyone.

We’re here to support and inspire you through every step and help you reach your highest potential. Individually, it’s difficult to push or motivate yourself as much as an outside influence can, and that’s what we excel in; helping you to be your best. Programs vary anywhere from once a month to 5 days a week and range from 30-60 minutes depending on your individual needs.
